It’s Juneteenth, baybeeee! This go around, it’s a lot different than last year. In a world where the COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest amongst the Black community meet in the same timeline, the bruvs are right in the thick of it with y’all. Jimmy gives out a few Bozo awards and boy, was it a tough one because some of YOU niggas have been really acting up. O.C.D. (Dave) gives his perspective on J. Cole’s new track and its alleged shots fired at Chicago rapper/activist NoName. Kevy Berry Punch is faded, but not too faded to talk his shit about the state of the country and where Black people fit into it. Kowboy took his Black ass to Palmdale to protest last weekend, but also had a chance to sit in on some important online meetings over the week and gives some insight on what he witnessed from those events. We conclude with some talks about reparations for Black Americans and other randomness that you’ll only get right here, on our show.
