EP20: Durag History Month
Sunday Feb 09, 2020
Sunday Feb 09, 2020
Live from Better Sounds, it's the SEASON FINALE and what a season it's been! Freeway Jimmy has some very special additions to Bozo of the Week, including a certain co-host. The Super Bowl happened last Sunday night, as did the halftime show, and it was met with durag controversy that the guys attempt to unpack. JAY-Z is on the receiving end of some the Super Bowl backlash and it sparks a split debate between the bruvs. OC Dave questions if there are any true Black activists doing it for the cause or the clout. Kevy Baby dives into the recent Meek Mill vs. Nicki Minaj Twitter-finger fiasco. Dave shares a story from his recent voyage to Arizona and in a weird turn of events from last week's episode, Mase took to Instagram to publicly display his ongoing issues with Diddy, so the fellas get into that bag before Kowboy (Cori) leads out with a question about influential Black figures in history because why not? It is #NHM, after all. We'll be back with season three soon, so don't be out there wearing bootcut jeans and Balenciagas looking crazy or you will get fried!
Like, share, comment, and subscribe; we're trying to be productive Blacks here!

E19: KOBEWOOD
Friday Jan 31, 2020
Friday Jan 31, 2020
Live from KOBEWOOD, the guys pay their respect to the late, great Kobe Bryant and his beloved Mambacita, GiGi, with some of their personal favorite Kobe moments over the years. Freeway Jimmy is back with his Bozo of the Week, followed by his take on Nike Basketball's final sneaker rollout for the Black Mamba. The GRAMMYs still happened in LA last Sunday night and Kowboy (Cori) unpacks some of the winners, losers, and HOT TAKES with the guys from what is allegedly supposed to be "Music's Biggest Night". Kevy Baby and Dave debate about Diddy and what Black people supporting each other looks like in the culture. They conclude with a question from Jimmy that has constantly floated around social media, sparking debate, and challenging the fragile, male ego -- as we know. Also, Pastor Troy gets the second BOTW! You're welcome!
Like, share, stream, subscribe, comment, follow us on social media, all that good shit!

NEW DECADE, SAME BRUVS!
This week we premiere the new @crash.rarri song, “Prima Donna” (prod by @issanaif_ & @_rawbone), before we catch up on the skulllduggery committed over the Christmas and New Year’s hiatus. Kevy Baby asks if white people only care about non-white issues for clout, Kowboy (Cori) brings back vinyl trivia featuring an iconic West Coast album where Freeway Jimmy looks to continue his undefeated streak, but not before he hands out the decade's first Bozo of the Week. Emerald City Dave is PISSED about The 92nd Oscar nominations and he’s gonna tell y’all why, and The Miseducated 4 give advice to the show’s first ever call-in!
So you read this far into the synopsis and you haven't commented, liked, shared, and subscribed??? What the fuck is wrong with you???

E16: ACTAVIS! ft. @shoehefner5
Wednesday Dec 11, 2019
Wednesday Dec 11, 2019
“ACTAVIS!” Back at Better Sounds for episode six where the four remaining Miseducators are joined by another day one supporter of the show, Matt aka @shoehefner5, but this time he didn’t bring any Dude Wipes, just a Jordan box full of skullduggery. With the news of rising emo-rapper/singer, Juice WRLD, passing away a few days ago at 21 still lingering in the entertainment industry, Kowboy (Cori) adopts a new moniker in his honor followed by Jimmy revealing whom he chose as Bozo of the Week (BOTW). Then the guys dive deeper into drug culture in the hip-hop community and whether or not rappers should be held responsible for the increase of drug use by those who are influenced. New music has flooded the streets, but Nick Cannon has also unleashed TWO diss tracks aimed at Slim Shady; and Pharrell is in hot water, again, with the Marvin Gaye Estate after an interview he did with Rick Rubin. Orange County Dave gets fried for his “nachos” again and refuses to claim where he’s from and on this week of “The Kevy Baby vs. Everyone Show”, it’s really just Kev polishing off a bottle of Crown Royal Salted Caramel followed by a loooot of pausable comments. Shoe Hef gets in his sneaker bag leading everyone down memory lane and the guys conclude with a question from our resident Bronx native that will fasho get us canceled soon! Tune-in to an episode of debauchery and as always: like, share, and subscribe. #STREAMTHEPOD!

E15: NACHO NIGRE ft. Roya
Saturday Dec 07, 2019
Saturday Dec 07, 2019
OOOOHHH we popping celebratory champagne this week at Better Sounds and this time we are joined by our lovely manager & Jimmy’s fiancée, Roya (@whatwouldroyado), who really wanted to cut all of the mics off the whole time. First thing’s first, the fellas recap their Thanksgiving holiday before Jimmy reveals who he chose as Bozo of the Week (BOTW). Wack 100 raised some eyebrows this week when he questioned if the late Nipsey Hussle is considered a legend and the guys and Roya take a deeper dive into what constitutes a legend in the industry; Kowboy (Cori), also, weighs in on deceased artists’ estates and how they’re being run. Our very own Nacho Nigre of the show, Orange County Dave, does more than make terrible nachos, he’s also here to impeach the POTUS live on the pod. Roya is here to talk about “influencer” RayP being an alleged creep. And on this week of “The Kevy Baby vs. Everyone Show”, Kev gets more insight on can men and women legitimately be platonic friends or is there always a romantic, sexual undertone. You know the gang had to talk their shit...LITERALLY! As always #STREAMTHEPOD and like, share, & subscribe!

E14: Future's Angels
Friday Nov 22, 2019
Friday Nov 22, 2019
Niggas were off the gotdamn Goo Punch early on at Better Sounds and Naif didn't cut off their mics. The guys take a trip down memory lane for all of the 90's kids before they get into their bag of Dirty Sprite to discuss where, the great, Future Hendrix ranks in the 2010s. Orange County Dave made terrible nachos and posted it on IG where the whole world dragged him for it (including us). Jimmy reveals his "Bozos of the Week" before they all unpack more Kaep-NFL drama and how JAY-Z is allegedly linked to all of it. It's 'The Kevy Baby vs Everyone Show' and this time he's had enough of Kanye and IG chicks with double standards. The guys review some new music before firing off on Instagram and their new algorithm to remove likes from posts worldwide. Kowboy (Cori) declares that Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is NOT the GOAT and the fellas conclude with some of Billboard's end of the decade lists.

E13: THE MISEDUCATED COMMANDMENTS
Friday Nov 15, 2019
Friday Nov 15, 2019
YEA! Live from Better Sounds on a Wednesday night! First thing's first, Jimmy and Kev get into their New York Knicks-based feelings surrounding...you guessed it, MORE Knicks controversy. Kowboy (Cori) asks top albums of 2019 (so far) before the guys get into a few hot takes about the ASTROWORLD Fest and Camp Flog Gnaw; y'all know the festival where some dirty Vans-wearing assholes booed Drake. The guys, also, discuss Alicia Keys before Orange County Dave takes us into our religion bag and there we give you listeners THE MISEDUCATED COMMANDMENTS. Then Kevy Berry Punch takes us home...(pause). As always: like, share, stream, and subscribe before we get cancelled!
The artist playing at the beginning is a patna of the pod, Solo Jaxon (@solojaxon), with his new track "Villain". IT'S THE POD YOU BASTARDS!

Friday Nov 08, 2019
Friday Nov 08, 2019
IT'S THE POD YOU BASTARDS! Live from The Mosaic we premiere Big Irie's new track "Comrades". Right off the bat, Kowboy Korey (Cori) is thrown in jail per usual and Jason Mitchell's lying ass is back at The Breakfast Club. Rolling Stone magazine ranks Elvis Presley way too high on their top 100 singers list, is Kanye scamming Black America (and the world) with 'Jesus Is King'/Sunday Service, running red lights *wink wink*, Kev gives us his top 5 juice list, image being more important than lyrics, and some other shit we rambled on about. As always: like, share, stream, and subscribe!
Big Irie - "Comrades" available on music streaming platforms.
